Good Afternoon, we’re making good progress each day. Each day the physical therapy team works with her (about 20 minutes/day) they comment on how well she’s doing. As you can imagine she isn’t getting a real, full night’s rest each night which takes its toll. We’ve been letting her take cat naps throughout the day to help her get her rest. For those of you who know Ashley personally, you know she absolutely needs her sleep. 🙂Â
We’ve made some adjustments to her medication and we’re keeping an eye on her vitals to make sure all are staying level. Her sodium levels have greatly improved and she’s been more hydrated.Â
I had a great conversation with the primary doctor in charge of inpatient rehab and…. we’re headed down to start rehab on Monday!! We still have a long way to go but I know that as we start the busy days of a rigorous rehabilitation Ashley’s progress will be exponential. We’re not giving up on our confessions either, we continue to speak to this “mountain” and call it to move to the obedience of the Word of God. Her condition may no longer be critical but we will continue to fight the good fight of faith for her complete and total recovery. The enemy will NOT gain a foothold in her progress or cause any further damage in Jesus’ name!
The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
Romans 8:11
The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in Ashley, permeating His life through her body, and restoring every damaged area in Jesus’ name!
As I was writing this update, a gentleman delivered a card for Ashley. We’ve received so many encouraging notes and cards. We cannot thank you enough for your love and support!
